Carnival: The celebration of Carnival

With some people that are more religious, Carnival is a religious celebration of the Christian Romans that starts before Easter and ends on Fat Tuesday.

In Brazil, Carnival is the main event. It’s the time when a Brazilian company big and small makes their greatest profits for the year. Similar to the Brazilian Carnival and other Carnival events around the world, there is a lot of preparation for the expected crowds and visiting tourist. This Brazilian event can be compared to the Super Bowl, but much larger.

With a very small hidden group, Carnival is a time to prey on individuals and companies that let their guard down. So it's always wise to use safety tips when you travel and enjoy Carnival.

WHO CELEBRATES CARNIVAL
A wide variety of people beyond Brazils Carnival celebrates carnival. Many people see Brazils carnival and figure Rio de Janeiro has cornered the market on Big parties, Big parades and Carnival itself, but that’s not true.

La Diablada Carnival celebrates Carnival in South America. Their parade takes place in Oruro, Central Bolivia. They are considered on of the most authentic Carnivals in South America. Their celebration is in honor of the Saint patroness of the miners.

Another celebration of Carnival occurs in Trinidad the Caribbean Islands is the host of this Carnival Event. Tobago also has the massive party with beautiful women, parade floats and colorful celebrations.

WHEN IS THE CARNIVAL SEASON
The season of Carnival takes place two weeks before the fasting of Lent usually, the third from the last Sunday before Ash Wednesday.

However In Trinidad, the Carnival season is over a month long prior to Ash Wednesday. This long Carnival event ends in Port of Spain on the last 3 days before Ash Wednesday.
